In a statement title "You have usurped the will of the people once again!”, the Alliance said that what happened “is a clear statement that democracy does not work.”

The statement added that the AKP-MHP government keeps implementing illegitimate practices.

The Kurdistani Alliance Study said: "The need to fight against these practices is the immediate and primary responsibility of the entire opposition together with the Kurds. Either we build a common struggle, or we will consent to a reality where further abuse will take place. Strong actors of democratic politics, especially the CHP, must tighten their ranks and political pressure. The solution of the Kurdish issue is necessary for the establishment of democracy in the country.”
