Kurds gathered in front of the Dom Church in Cologne to protest the Kazimi government's attack on Shengal. The demonstration was organised by the Democratic Kurdish Community Council, Viyan Women's Council and AGIF.
People condemned the attacks on Shengal, reminding of the 2014 massacre the Yazidi community suffered at the hands of ISIS.
Kurds in Europe said that these latest attacks aim at displacing the people of Shengal once again and at destroying the autonomous institutions created after ISIS was defeated.
Speakers said that all Kurds and their friends living in Europe should give a strong voice to the resisting Shengal people.
