Kurds in Denmark announce the candidates they support in general elections

Remarking that preferential voting would be decisive in the regions where Kurds live intensely, the Democratic Kurdish Community Centre in Denmark calls on all Kurds to be sensitive in the approaching general elections.

The Democratic Kurdish Community Centre (DKTM) in Denmark announced the candidates they would endorse in the general elections to be held on November 1.

The DKTM said that the Kurds living in Gladsaxe, Høje Taastrup, Albertslund, Ishøj, Brøndby, Vallensbæk Hvidovre, Rødovre, Herlev, Ballerup, Lyngby, Glostrup, and Gentofte would vote for Socialist People's Party Deputy Chair Serdal Benli. The DKTM added that preferential voting would be decisive in these regions where Kurds live intensely, calling on all Kurds to be sensitive.

In the centre of Copenhagen, the DKTP will support the Enhedslisten Party's candidate, İbrahim Benli. The Kurds living in the cities of Husum, Tingberg, Tårnby, Dragør, Valby, Amager, Frederiksberg, Østerbro, Vesterbro, Bispebjerg and Nørrebro will be supporting Benli.

The DKTM also announced their support for female candidate Necla Baran, who is running for election in Copenhagen.
