Kurds in Paris condemn international conspiracy against Öcalan

The isolation and international conspiracy against Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan, were protested in Paris.

Activists in Paris protested the international conspiracy and isolation against Öcalan, with a demonstration organised by the Villeneuve Saint Georges Democratic Kurdish Community Center.

Kurds gathered in front of the Villeneuve Saint Georges town hall, carrying banners and photographs of Öcalan and chanting "Freedom for Öcalan".

Speaking in the action, Mahmut Han, a Paris TEV-ÇAND artist, said: "15 February 1999 is a dark day for the Kurdish people."

The action ended with a call for participation in the march organised in Paris on Saturday to condemn the international conspiracy. The march will start at the Gare de l’Est at 2 pm.
