Kurds to meet in Strasbourg on September 15

People of Kurdistan living in Europe are meeting in Strasbourg on September 15 in order to protest the isolation of Öcalan. CDK-F called for mass participation in the protest, and noted that resistance would destroy the AKP.

Led by the France Democratic Kurdish Council (CDK-F), people of Kurdistan living in Europe are organizing a march in Strasbourg on September 15 for the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

CDK-F invited patriotic Kurds and their allies to participate in the Strasbourg protest on September 15 in order to demand the freedom of Öcalan.

Emphasizing the isolation of Öcalan, CDK-F described the recent appointment of trustees to several municipalities as the realization of the destruction and denial concept of Turkey. CDK-F noted that the isolation of Öcalan, the removal of HDP parliamentarians’ immunities, the appointment of trustees to municipalities, the arrest of hundreds people, and the launch of a dirty war are indicators of the level of the ongoing conflict.

CDK-F stated that Kurdish people resist and hold their heads high against the murders, arrests, torture, executions, removal of immunities, appointment of trustees and other policies of the AKP, and the AKP imposes destruction but would itself be destroyed due to Kurdish people’s resistance.

The Council called for resistance against the AKP, and emphasized that a united struggle of groups from different religions, languages, cultures and political views would bring the end of the AKP.

France Democratic Kurdish Council called for increasing resistance across Europe, said that the end of Öcalan’s isolation would mean the end of the chaos in Kurdistan and the Middle East, and called upon everyone to join the Strasbourg protest on September 15 for the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
