Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) Co-Chair and Siirt Deputy Gültan Kýþanak has visited women prisoners jailed in connection with the KCK in Bakýrköy Women Prisoner in Istanbul.

Kýþanak meet with DÝHA reporters, editors, Özgür Gündem staff, as well as with professor Büþra Ersanlý and many other journalists imprisoned because of alleged connection with the KCK.

Then, Kýþanak visited male KCK prisoners in 1st and 2nd Kandýra Prisons.

The KCK (Kurdish Communities Union) operation is a political operation aimed at repressing Kurdish and dissenting voices.
