Operation Cizire Storm continues towards the northeast of Deir Ez Zor. ISIS attacks have been pushed back by the fighters.

In the northwestern front of Deir ez-Zor, ISIS gangs have been pushed back and one panzer tank and one vehicle has been seized from the gangs by the SDF fighters.

Last night ISIS gangs attacked SDF positions in the Hurriya village 52 km northeast of Deir ez-Zor.

With the clashes that broke out when fighters retaliated, the attacks were pushed back and 2 gang members were killed.

SDF fighters also seized one panzer tank and one vehicle from the ISIS gangs.

Operation Cizire Storm had launched on September 9 in the north and east directions of Deir ez-Zor. Syrian Democratic Forces fighters cleared dozens of residential areas from ISIS gangs during this time. And the other day, Syria’s largest oil region al-Omar to the east of Deir ez-Zor had come under control of the SDF fighters.

SDF fighters have reached the Euphrates River from the southeastern front of Deir ez-Zor. And the Syrian army is stationed on the other shore of the river with support from Russia.
