Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan's lawyers Rezan Sarıca, İbrahim Bilmez, Serbay Köklü and Raziye Turgut have applied to Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to meet with their client on July 8th, Wednesday.

After 8 years of total isolation, Öcalan’s lawyers were able to meet with their client on 2 May, 22 May, 12 June, 18 June and 7 August 2019.

The requests for visits submitted by the Asrin Legal Office have not been answered by the Public Prosecutor's Office since 7 August 2019.

The tightly guarded prison island of Imrali, where the Kurdish leader has been held since 1999, is completely sealed off from the public.
