‘Defend Kurdistan’ march in Switzerland enters its final phase

The long march initiated by the Defend Kurdistan Initiative in Switzerland has entered its final phase. The march will be concluded with a mass rally in Geneva today.

The three-day march launched by the 'Defend Kurdistan' Initiative against the invasion and genocidal attacks of the Turkish state in Kurdistan, started in front of the building where the Treaty of Lausanne was signed. The long march will be concluded with a mass rally in front of the United Nations (UN) Office in Geneva today.

The march is supported by the Kurds from four parts of Kurdistan as well as representatives of Swiss political institutions, parties and individuals, and non-governmental organizations.

Writers, artists, academics, politicians, the peace delegation that paid a visit to Southern Kurdistan, and internationalists came together in the city of Versoix today. The march that continued with slogans and anthems in great enthusiasm, drew huge interest from the Swiss people. Leaflets prepared by the Defend Kurdistan activists concerning the invasion and genocidal attacks of the Turkish state were distributed to the people.
