German ZDF TV following the demonstration interviewed the Kurdish demonstrators voicing criticism at Angela Merkel -on a visit to Turkey today- who has long ignored the Turkish state's massacres against Kurds. Demonstrators said they still expected the German people to not remain silent in the face of this situation.
Kurds called on everyone that defend democracy and women's freedom and stand against fascicm to form an alliance with the Kurds, and voiced determination to continue their protests for the freedom of the Kurdish leader, Abdullah Öcalan.
The three-day Hamburg march will resume from Veddel at 10:00 tomorrow morning and end with a rally at the Jungernstieg Avenue next to the parliament at 13:00.
