A big explosion occurred last night in the city center of Şırnak. The explosion was heard all over the city and it was learned that there was military activity in the area where the 23rd Gendarmerie Border Division Command was sent after the explosion.

According to information received from the area, the light of the Division Command had gone out, and it was learned that gunfire was heard there. It is reported that the division fired randomly in the rural area.

Meanwhile news came in of an action carried out against the Batman Air Garrison Command in Batman. Three explosions occurred in the Gültepe District, while military activity continued in the city.

The People's Defense Forces (HPG) had previously attacked the Turkish army's air base in Amed (Diyarbakır) with drones and reportedly destroyed a runway, preventing fighter planes from taking off for several hours.
