YARSAV, the biggest organization of prosecutors and judges in Turkey issued a press release and called on those responsible of Roboski event to resign and answer questions on the case.
Emphasizing the sadness because of the death of 35 young people, including 17 minors, YARSAV invited those responsible to respect democracy rules and law formed by governors and continued: “Respect for human rights, superiority of law and principles of state of law, which are essential for a democracy, were enfeebled one more time with the latest event in Turkey. The right to life was disregarded which we all witnessed in the latest case. Those responsible have to give account and resign without turning this painful event into an ordinary case and without letting politicians to use it as just another material in their political argument.”
