Turkish soldiers killed a man after opening fire on a group of people trying to cross into Turkey from the Dirbesiyê city in West Kurdistan yesterday evening.
Sileman Ehmed Yusif, 25, was seriously wounded by a bullet that hit him on the chest.
According to the statements of witnesses, the young man remained at the scene for three hours and was not taken to hospital although ambulances arrived at the scene after the incident at Turkey's border to Rojava, but didn't intervene the man despite the critical injury he suffered. Witnesses said Yusif was taken to Mardin's Kızıltepe district after he lost his life there.
No news has been received yet about the people accompanying the young man while crossing the border, who were reportedly detained by Turkish security forces.
