Police forces raided several houses and detained many people in Istanbul and Adana provinces early Tuesday morning.
The operation in Istanbul targeted administrators and members of the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) and Federation of Socialist Youth Associations (SGDF).
Many socialists including SGDF Co-chair Ceren Çoban and ESP member Ali Karaçay have been taken into custody and taken to the Istanbul Department of Police on Vatan Avenue.
On the other hand, 8 people were detained in today’s operations in the southern province of Adana.
