A high number of arrests have been made in Cizre, Şırnak.

The detentions have been carried out in the neighboroughs of Cudi, Yafes and Nur and it is understood that at least 15 people have been taken into custody by police, following house raids carried out early in the morning. 

Among the detained are Halil Yağarcık, Vedat Durak, Ekrem Gerdan and Abdurrahman Yarar. It is understood that police have been breaking doors and have carried out heavy-handed raids.
