Mardin Metropolitan Municipality Co-mayor Ahmet Türk was arrested in November following the appointment of a trustee in his place and sent to Silivri prison. He has been transferred to Elazığ Type T prison.

Ahmet Türk was reportedly transferred to Elazığ late last night. Türk’s lawyers confirm the transfer.

Meanwhile, Amed Metropolitan Municipality Co-mayor Fırat Anlı has also been transferred from Kandıra Prison to Elazığ Type T Prison.
