Journalist / writer Ahmet Altan and his brother Prof. Dr. Mehmet Altan were referred to the Istanbul Court House in Çağlayan following their procedures in Istanbul Anti-terror Unit.

Altan brothers were referred to the court with demand for their arrest on allegations of “aiding and abetting and propaganda for FETÖ, attempting to topple the government”. The Criminal Court on duty ruled Ahmet Altan be released on probation and his brother Prof. Dr. Mehmet Altan be arrested.
