Memorial for commanders Avesta and Engin in Copenhagen
A memorial was held in Copenhagen for PKK Central Committee (MK) member Kasım Engin (Ismail Nazlıkul) and HPG and YJA Star commander Zin Avesta (Hafize Özdemir).
PKK Central Committee member Kasım Engin, who fell martyr following the air strike carried out by Turkish warplanes on May 27, was commemorated in Copenhagen.
The memorial was also for HPG and YJA Commander Zin Avesta, who lost her life in Dersim.
The memorial organized by Sêvê Women's Council started with a minute silence, followed by a speech by Kurdish politician Bavê Hüseyin.
The memorial ended with slogans and the screening of a video.
