Guerrilla Gaffari Yorulmaz (Bager Adar), who fell as a martyr two years ago, was commemorated in Adiyaman.
Fallen guerrilla Gaffari Yorulmaz (Bager Adar) was remembered on Saturday in Adiyaman. Yorulmaz fell on 7 May 2020 along with two other HPG fighters as the result of an air strike by the Turkish army near the village of Rezip (Kayatepe) in Adiyaman.
On the second anniversary of his death, a memorial was held in the village of Gomik (Kümeevler). The event was attended by relatives and acquaintances as well as representatives of the MEBYA-DER solidarity association.
Afterwards, the grave of the martyr in Gomik was visited. Women laid flowers on the grave.
Bager Adar was born in Adiyaman in 1992 to a patriotic family. Two of his uncles died in the Kurdish liberation struggle in 1988 and 1994. He himself joined the guerrillas in 2011.
