Turkish army launched an operation in the rural areas of Bingöl province on Thursday.

According to the reports by local sources, the operation was launched in an area between Bingöl's Hamamlar village and Bingöl's Karlıova district on Thursday afternoon. The military activity in the region is reportedly continuing today as well.

On the other hand, Turkish army has also beefed up its forces in the border village of Bilican in Hakkari's (Colemêrg) Çukurca (Çelê) district on 18 September. The intense military activity reportedly lasted till Thursday afternoon.
