One person was injured when a military aircraft crashed on a street in Sancaktepe, Istanbul.

It was a training aircraft which had taken off from 4. Army Aviation Regiment before it crashed on a street in Sancaktepe. Fortunately nobody died because of the accident but one of the three officers in the plane was injured.

Following the accident, fire brigade foamed on the plane and military cranes have started to remove the wrecks.

While there isn’t any explanation about the reason of the crash yet, eyewitnesses said that the plane collided with electric cables and landed with a speed touchdown.
