The Mine Team continues its efforts to clear the mines planted by ISIS in the city of Raqqa that was liberated by YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in late October, ending four-year ISIS rule in the city. Mine explosions are still causing losses of life or injuries in some areas of the city.
A mine laid by ISIS exploded yesterday and killed a young woman, whose identity has not been clarified yet. Residents took the woman’s body to the Wetenî Hospital in Girê Spî for identification.
