Manbij Military Council (MMC) fighters have repelled the attacks of the Turkish-backed gang groups on western villages of Manbij. 5 gang members were killed and one panzer was destroyed during clashes.
Gang groups acting under the command of the Turkish army attacked the villages of Gorhiyok, Boxaz, Ulashlı and Jabla al-Hamara in western Manbij yesterday. The attacks have been repelled following clashes that continued into Saturday morning.
During the fighting, MMC fighters destroyed a panzer near the Gorhiyok village and damaged a tank in Jabla al-Hamara village. 5 gang members were killed and a large quantity of ammunition was seized from the gangs.
