Mobile 'Öcalan Library' to travel Swiss cities

As the 'Freedom Stand', which opens every Wednesday in Lausanne, enters its 5th month, the 'Öcalan Library' will tour the cities of Zurich, Lucerne, Solothurn, Lausanne and Geneva between 26 and 31 March.

The "Freedom Stand", which has been opened every Wednesday since 24 November, 2021, by members of Jinên Ciwan ên Tekoşer (TekoJIN) and Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ), as part of the "Werin Cenga Azadiyê" initiative, has entered its 5th month.

Activists in the stand opened in Place du St Laurent in Lausanne, inform the public about the philosophy, ideas and paradigm of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Deniz Karahan, a member of the Kurdish Community Center, said: “With our action, we are explaining to the Swiss people why our Leader should be freed. In addition, we, as the People's Assembly, are collecting signatures to demand the removal of the PKK from the lists of terrorist organisations. We will resolutely continue our actions until our Leader is freed.”
