Including several children, ten people have been taken into custody early this morning as a result of simultaneous house raids at many addresses in Ortaklar town of Germencik/Aydýn province in the Aegean Region.

While the operation is reported to have been carried out within the scope of so-called “KCK” investigation, detainees were taken to Aydýn Security Directorate.

On the other hand, two people have been taken into custody in Hasköy district of Muþ as a result of a gendarmerie operation in Büvetli village of the district.

Detainees who are accused of “aiding and abetting the PKK” were sent to the Security Directorate of Van province.
