BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) Hasip Kaplan on his twitter account evaluated the arrest of former Chief of Staff Ýlker Baþbuð, Roboski slaughter and special authorized courts.
BDP MP Kaplan remarked that Deputy Prime Minister Beþir Atalay as the “coordinator” was the primary responsible for Roboski slaughter which left 35 people dead on 28 December.
Kaplan also remarked that their lawyers would soon take necessary legal steps about PM Erdoðan’s insults in his speech at group meeting and Interior Minister’s insults in his speech at the parliament.
Concerning the detention of former Turkish Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Kaplan pointed out that all secrets of Dolmabahçe should be brought out into the open through the internet memorandum campaign which was organized during the period of former Land Forces Commander Gen. Yaþar Büyükanýt. Regarding the internet memorandum, Kaplan noted that this campaign not only spread black propaganda against the AKP government but also targeted DTP/BDP/Kurds, their institutions, intellectuals, artists and the press as well. “Why don’t police and prosecutors conduct the same investigation when the same black propaganda is made against the BDP?” asked BDP MP for Þýrnak.
Underlining that Special Functionary Courts were “under the command of political governments”, Kaplan said that; “Anyone could be tried as guilty in a place where there is no justice”.
“Why does the AKP insist on protecting the perpetrators of the crimes against humanity which were committed in the 90’s and not making an investigation into these crimes?” asked BDP MP and added that; “Those who claim special authorized courts to be independent have bats in the belfry. Even primary school would evaluate these courts as extraordinary courts, not the courts of law.
