Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) congratulated Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) for Manbij victory, and stated that more than 140 thousands civilians were liberated from ISIS cruelty during the operations crucial for the North Syria Federal System.

MSD criticized Turkey’s role during the operation to liberate Manbij and said that the Turkish state attacked SDF forces and allowed ISIS gangs to cross its Jarablus border during the operation. The Council noted that operation received support from different social groups in Syria, which helped SDF ensure its decisive victory.

RECONSTRUCTION

In its statement, MSD described the liberation of Manbij as a crucial step in the democratic solution of the problems in Syria, and called upon the residents of Manbij to participate in the workings of the Manbij Civilian Council for the reconstructions and defense of the city.

'SOCIAL REVOLUTION OF ARAB WOMEN'

MSD pointed out that the liberation of Manbij was an important step in the improvement of the lives of Arab women, who have mobilized and carried out self-defense effectively. The assembly described the victory as a social revolution of Arab women.

'DEMOCRATIC FEDERAL SYSTEM HAS MORE SPACE FOR IMPLEMENTATION’

Syrian Democratic Council stated that Manbij victory defeated the terror plans of ISIS and saved humanity from further cruelty. The Council underlined that the victory opened up more space for the North Syria Democratic Federal System to implement its democratic and decentralized project, and would help solve the current crisis in Syria.

Lastly, MSD underlined that Manbij Military Council fighters liberated more than 140 thousand civilians from the cruelty of ISIS gangs during the operation to cleanse ISIS.
