One of Musa Anter’s murderers, Hamit Yıldırım, has been released from prison.
The Ankara High Criminal Court No.6 has released one of the murderers of journalist/writer Musa Anter, the hitman Hamit Yıldırım who had been in prison since 2012, citing that he has completed 5 years of remand.
Diyarbakır Chief Prosecutor’s Office had launched an inquiry on Hamit Yıldırım as the hitman as well as Mahmut Yıldırım (Code name: Yeşil), retired Colonel Şafak Gevrekçi and confessor Abdulkadir Aygan. The case was transferred to Ankara following the first hearing citing security reasons. The Ankara High Criminal Court No.6 has had the case for years, but didn’t issue a verdict. During this time, the case was combined with the JİTEM case.
GUARANTORS MİROĞLU AND KIZILKAYA
It had come to light that Hamit Yıldırım had met with a MİT agent code named Tayfun and AKP MP Orhan Miroğlu.
Miroğlu and AKP’s Muhsin Kızılkaya had given statements in court as guarantors of Yıldırım.
