An earthquake of 4.7 magnitude occurred in Van with epicenter in the district of Tusba.

The earthquake caused no loss of life and property and was felt in neighboring provinces such as Hakkari and Ağrı.

According to the latest data published by the Boğaziçi University Kandilli Observatory and the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the tremors  took place at a depth of 9.20 kilometers.
