A new Kurdish cultural association called Engin Sincer opened in the city center of Avignon, in the South of France.

At the opening of the association, a minute's silence was held for those who lost their lives in the Kurdish freedom and democracy struggle.

Speakers said that a stronger reaction should be shown against the Turkish army’s use of chemical weapons against the guerrillas.

It was also underlined that the Kurds should respond to these attacks with stronger organizations in every field.
