New reports from Amed say that hundreds have been wounded in two successive blasts that happened during the HDP rally in the main Kurdish province, while a 16 year-old-boy, Ramazan Yıldız has lost his life in Dicle University Hospital, where he had been taken under operation. Another person is reported to have lost his life in Veni Vidi Hospital. It is said that his name could not be identified as he did not have an ID.
Hundreds of people have been wounded, some seriously in two seperate blasts in the HDP rally, which saw over 100 thousand people.
Reports are coming through that some wounded are in critical condition, while the number of deaths has not been verified. According to the initial reports 40 wounded have been taken under treatment in Gazi Yaşargil Hospital, 140 in Selahattin Eyyubi Hospital, 75 in Dicle University Hospital, where 25 in critical condition have been taken under operation, 35, including 5 seriously wounded in Veni Vidi hospital, 60 in Bağlar Private Hospital. It has also been reported that there are many other wounded under treatment in the private hospitals in the city.

During the initial treatment of the wounded, iron marbles were found and removed from the bodies of some according to the reports of the hospital personnel, while the scene investigation team also found iron marbles at the scene. Hospital authorities have also reported that they found gunpowder and buckshot on the bodies of the wounded in addition to iron marbles.
