As part of the investigation launched by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a 24-hour lawyer's visit ban was given to 16 people, 9 of whom were women. The 16 people were detained on charges of "membership in a terrorist organization" and "making propaganda for a terrorist organization" for participating in the METU Revolutionary March in the raid carried out by the TEM Branch on many houses on Monday morning. The ban on visit is now over.
Lawyers, who met with their clients held at the Ankara Police Department, said that their condition is good, and said that 9 women went on hunger strike.
It was learned that the police did not allow the lawyers to bring sweets to the women on hunger strike.
