Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan's elder sister Ayni Yıldırım had a heart attack in Ömerli (Amara) village of Urfa province Saturday evening. Following first response at Halfeti State Hospital, Yıldırım was transferred to Urfa Mehmet akif İnan Training and Research Hospital where she passed away despite all the medical efforts.

Yıldırım's body has been put in the hospital morgue and she will be laid to rest in the Ömerli village tomorrow.
