BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) Istanbul MP Sýrrý Süreyya Önder will shoot introductory films to encourage public participation in the works on new constitution.

According to news by daily paper Radikal, BDP member director Sýrrý Süreyya Önder has taken responsibility for the preparation of introductory films which are planned to be used for encouraging a more active participation in the process of a new constitution. While the task had earlier been given to state channel TRT, the films shot by the channel were disapproved by the members of Parliament's Constitutional Reconciliation Commission. The responsibility to shoot the films again was therewith undertaken by Önder who has taken part in remarkable films so far.

The content and message text of five separate films in the same format will be formed jointly by the commission’s members.
