Twenty civilians, rescued by YPG (People's Defense Units) fighters, have been hospitalized in Kobani after surviving an armed attack by al-Nusra and ISIS (the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham) in Tal Abyad on Monday.

One of those critically injured, 17-year-old girl named Dilber, lost her life short after the attack.

Speaking to ANHA news agency about the casualties, doctor Ebdo Terbuş stated that the wounded civilians were rescued by YPG fighters who also enabled their transport to Kobani in ambulances.

According to Terbuş, among those treated at Emel hospital in Kobani are six people from the same family, with three remaining in critical situation. The doctor confirmed the death of the seventeen year-old girl and noted that all 20 casualties came from the village of Xerabistan.

On the other hand, the whereabouts of the 300 hundred Kurdish civilians, who were kidnapped by al-Nusra on Saturday night, still remains unknown.
