One village and dozens of hamlets liberated in Deir ez-Zor
SDF fighters have cleared a village and dozens of hamlets northwest of Deir ez-Zor.
Fighters of the YPG/YPJ-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have liberated the village of al-Riwashid and dozens of hamlets affiliated to the village following fierce clashes with ISIS gangs.
3 ISIS members were killed and ammunition belonging to the gangs was seized during the fighting.
The Operation Cizire Storm launched on September 9 continues at full force in the north of Deir ez-Zor.
