One worker died in TOKI building

Two building worker brothers Fatih and Mehmet Sýddýk Kaymak lost balance and fell down from TOKÝ (Housing Development Administration of Turkey) buildings they were constructing. 24-year-old Fatih Kaymak lost his life, while his 27-year-old brother Mehmet Sýddýk was seriously injured.

According to the information received, four Kaymak brothers, 33-year-old Mehmet Ali, 28-year-old Zülküf Kaymak, 27-year-old Mehmet Sýddýk and 24-year-old Fatih, have been working at TOKÝ buildings in Ýnönü Neighborhood of Dersim where they came from Dicle district of Diyarbakýr in search of a work.

With safety belts on their waist, Kaymak brothers were working in the garret attic of a five-storey building. Fatih lost his balance and fell down on the ground. His brother Mehmet Sýddýk also lost his balance and fell down on the ground when his security rope broke while he made a move meanwhile to help Fatih before he fell down.

Fatih, father of four, lost his life at the hospital he was taken to after the accident. Seriously injured Mehmet Sýddýk was conveyed to Elazýð Fýrat University Medical Faculty for treatment.
