“Operation for Tabqa kicked off, we will clear ISIS”

Following the airdrop to the west of the Euphrates, operations to clear Tabqa city and the Tabqa Dam (Sevra) of ISIS gangs have been reported to continue.

Wrath of Euphrates Operation Room General Command has issued a written statement on the airdrop to the west of the Euphrates today.

The statement is as follows:

“Our forces have carried out an airdrop to the villages in Tabqa on the western bank of the Euphrates River on March 21. The airdrop was carried out by the International Coalition helicopters. Specialist soldiers in the International Coalition have also taken their place in this operation. The airdrop activity for villages in Tabqa lasted 5 hours, and our forces have been positioned in the area with their vehicles and full military equipment. With this, our forces have taken a large swath of land under their control. With this area to the west of the Euphrates River, all the villages of Raqqa are aimed to be liberated.

The goal of this specially carried out military action has been met within the Wrath of Euphrates operation. These operations aim to liberate Tabqa city and the Tabqa Dam. An electricity producing dam will be liberated from ISIS and it will be made to serve all the Syrian peoples.”

The Command center requested the people of Tabqa to stay away from ISIS gangs’ headquarters and called on the young people to join their forces.
