Deniz Kaya made a statement on behalf of PAJK and PKK prisoners to celebrate Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan's birthday.

Deniz Kaya said: "We celebrate the 71st birthday of our Leader, the vanguard of the organizational, intellectual and voluntary resistance of the most ancient peoples of this territory, which many wanted to leave without history and future."

Kaya added: "The fascist genocidal AKP-MHP mentality has been increasing the 21-year Imrali isolation system to suppress and destroy the resistance that is turning into victory, and to secure its own power. Now it is using for its own interests the Covid-19 virus pandemic. It is trying to impose an execution law which constitutes a complete contradiction to the principle of equality of law, which is accepted by universal human rights standards."

The prisoners' statement reiterated that the AKP-MHP government is doomed to fail and be crashed.
