PAJK Coordination celebrates the 19 July Rojava Revolution

PAJK Coordination celebrated the 19 July Rojava Revolution and said that "it is a source of hope for progressive humanity".

PAJK Coordination, in a statement published on its website, marked the ninth anniversary of the Rojava Revolution and emphasized the struggle of women with a common mind and spirit. PAJK underlined that fascism and the capitalist system could collapse with such a struggle.

PAJK said: "We are celebrating the 9th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution, which started as a small spark in Kobane on July 19, 2012 and spread to all Rojava cities, becoming the hope of freedom for the peoples of Kurdistan, the Middle East and the whole world. We commemorate with respect and gratitude all the martyrs of the Rojava revolution who played a heroic role in achieving victory."

The statement added: "The women's revolution in Rojava, the first revolution of the 21st century, is the embodiment of Leader Apo's [Abdullah Öcalan] 20 years of work in Rojava. The Rojava Revolution, which was born out of a relentless struggle against the al-Nusra-ISIS mercenaries, fed by the international hegemonic powers, developed with the slogan of a free woman and a free society. The struggle was for the Democratic Nation project as defined by Leader Apo. The Rojava Revolution, led by Kurdish, Arab, Armenian and Assyrian women, has once again concretely demonstrated the fact that the 21st century is the century of women's freedom. The Rojava Revolution became a source of hope for the world's progressive humanity. It has also been the nightmare of the Turkish state, which is the expression of fascism."

The statement continued: "One of the biggest reasons why the fascist Turkish state attacked the Rojava Revolution is the fact that this is a women's revolution and is shaped by the paradigm of women's freedom. The fascist Turkish state's attacks on the revolution have continued since the Rojava women's revolution took place. The fascist Turkish state protected ISIS mercenaries with the slogan 'Kobanê will fall'. The destruction of fascism will occur with the common struggle and resistance of the peoples, as was done in the Rojava Revolution."

PAJK ended its statement saluting "all women and peoples of the 19 July Rojava Revolution, which has become a day of resistance and revolution for the peoples of Kurdistan, the Middle East and all the peoples of the world, especially women, and salute the women who led the revolution and preserved the gains achieved."
