Paris killer sent to prison

William M., the killer of three Kurds last Friday in Paris, was indicted for "murder and attempted murder on account of race, ethnicity, nation or religion" as well as for "unauthorized acquisition and possession of a weapon".

The French Democratic Kurdish Council and David Andic, the lawyer of the families of the murdered Emine Kara, Abdurrahman Kızıl and Mir Perwer, reacted to the indictment and said that the case was political and they did not accept that the judge should consider the massacre within the scope of racist crimes.

The French Democratic Kurdish Society (CDK-F) and victim Mir Perver's family filed a criminal complaint against the killer with the Paris Prosecutor.

Emine Kara and Abdurrahman Kızıl's families will also file a criminal complaint against both the Paris Prosecutor's Office and the killer today, through their lawyers.

On the other hand, it was learned that the families of the murdered people will identify the bodies today.
