Participants of the Mannheim march arrive in Strasbourg for the rally

The Long March that started in Mannheim is concluded in Strasbourg where the activists will attend the large-scale rally in protest at the February 15 1999's international conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The Long March for “Freedom for Öcalan, Status for Kurdistan” launched on February 5 in Mannheim, Germany with the slogan “Serok Apo azad bike, Kurdistanê azad bike, jiyanê azad bike” has reached its final stage. The activists gathered in front of the Kehl train station at 08:00 and kicked off the last stage with dances this morning.

The activists have crossed the Germany-France border and entered Strasbourg where they were faced with a police checkpoint.

The activists started their march towards the place the large-scale march will begin. They will walk for 4 kilometers and join the march and rally in Strasbourg in protest at the February 15 1999's international conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
