Members of the BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) and Peace Mothers Initiative have been on guard in front of Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute for nine days. Mothers are waiting for the identification of bodies of eight guerrillas who lost their lives in a clash in Yayladere district of Bingöl on 15 December.
While the bodies are once again unrecognizable and completely burnt, the mass outside demands the identification of bodies and their delivery to families.
“We will be standing behind our children till the very end and we demand the immediate end of this cruelty”, said mothers and called on the public to not to remain silent about the savageness. Mothers also asked Erdoðan if this was the way he granted rights to the Kurdish people.
