Speaking on behalf of the Peace Movement, the delegation members said that the struggle for Kurdish freedom should be recognised also as a diplomatic and peaceful struggle.

The Peace Movement of France visited the members of AvEG-Kon, YS and SKB on hunger strike in Paris.

The Kurdish activists have been fasting demanding the end of isolation against Abdullah Öcalan.

AvEG-Kon, SKB and YS members continue their hunger strike resistance now on day 51. The action is being held at the ACTİT. Peace Movement (Mouvement de la Paix) activists, including Yves-Jean Gallas, visited the activists.

Speaking on behalf of the Peace Movement, the delegation members said that the struggle for Kurdish freedom should be recognised also as a diplomatic and peaceful struggle.

“Öcalan's books should be introduced and disseminated for their academic importance”, said the delegation.

Yves-Jean Gallas said that social projects being implemented in Rojava and North Kurdistan should be explained and discussed in Europe.

“Kurds' demand for independence is the realization of the project of democracy and freedom”, he said.

Answering the delegation about his health situation, Özkan Özdemir said: “We feel good about ourselves. The morale and motivation of being in the resistance are high. We get more morale with our friends visiting us and showing their solidarity. We are much more worried about the hunger strikers who are on their 200th day of fast, they have well overcome the critical phase.
