Kurdish people in Copenhagen yesterday held a protest against the repressive Iranian regime which executes Kurdish activists.
Responding to the call of PJAK, the Kurdish people held a protest action in front of the Iranian embassy in Copenhagen against the repressive policies of the Iranian regime against Kurdish people in the country as well as the execution of Kurdish activists. Press statements read out in Kurdish and Danish condemned the silence of the international community about repression in Iran while the crowd frequently chanted the slogans “Martyrs are immortal” and “Long Live Leader Apo”. A statement of the KNK in Persian was also read out at the action.
The Danish left party, the Red Green Alliance (Enhedslisten), also supported the action and announced that it will put on its agenda in the coming period the repressive policies of Iran against the Kurds.
