People in Zurich protest Turkish attacks against Northern and Eastern Syria

AVEG-KON representative Metin Yılmaz made a call to increase the organized struggle to defend the Rojava Revolution against fascism and occupation.

An action was held in Zurich with the slogan "Let's take action to defend the Rojava Revolution" to protest the Turkish state's invasion attacks against Northern and Eastern Syria.

The march was promoted by the European Confederation of Oppressed Migrants (AVEG-KON) and opened by the People's United Revolutionary Movement (HBDH).

In a speech on behalf of AVEG-KON, Metin Yılmaz stated that the Turkish state fascism continues its attacks against revolutionaries, workers and peoples in Kurdistan and Turkey.

Pointing out that the incessant attacks on Rojava aimed to eliminate the revolution achieved by the joint struggle of the peoples, Yılmaz said that for this reason, Turkey organized assassinations against the leaders of the revolution.

Yılmaz called for increased organized struggle to defend the Rojava Revolution against fascism and occupation.

Sinan Bakır spoke on behalf of HBDH components. Referring to the invasion attacks carried out by the Turkish state, Bakır said: "Just as revolutionary forces defended the Rojava Revolution yesterday, we will continue to defend the Rojava Revolution today with the same determined stance against fascism and invasion attacks."

PYD representative Mehmed Emin Omar emphasized that they will resist and defend the revolution in Rojava, where the paradigm of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan is being put in practice.
