A protest demonstration was organised on Monday against the brutal attacks of the occupying Turkish army and its mercenary allies against the people of Afrin.

Since Sunday the tension between the Turkish invaders and the people has being growing in the Mahmudiye district of Afrin. Tension has turned into a protest action during the course of Monday.

The people of Mahmudiye protested againstt the dirty practices of the mercenaries. Local sources said that the Turkish military and intelligence threatened people directly saying they will attack.

The same sources said that there was growing anger among the people despite the repression and threats.
