Photographs of Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) MP Leyla Guven, who has been on an indefinite nonalternating hunger strike for the last 78 days to end the isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan, taken during the open visitations she had with her family on December 24, 2017 and January 7, 2019 were shared by the DTK.

Guven’s extreme weight loss is visible in the photographs. According to her lawyers, she will not be able to attend her hearing to be held in the Diyarbakir Heavy Penal Court No.9 tomorrow.
