PKK will decide about ceasefire next week
Kurdistan Worker Party (PKK) will make a final decision on the fate of the unilateral ceasefire, a prominent PKK figure said.
In an interview with ANF Turkish Service Murat Karayilan said it's unlikely that Turkish government will take some trust building steps until March and they have to re-evaluate current political process next week.
Last December PKK and Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan said the ceasefire will not be extended if Turkish side fails take certain steps. Under normal circumstance the ceasefire is valid until general elections in June 2011.
Karayýlan criticized Turkish government for provoking war and said that it's now AKP's last chance to show their good will which will lead to positive developments.
He accused Turkey of preparing a large scale operation against insisted on Turkey's large budget spendings on military.
Speaking on mass graves Karayilan said there will be no peaceful solution until all the mass graves are excavated and the predators of these crimes are tried.
“But the Turkish state and AKP government has no intentions to investigate the crimes of the past and solve the Kurdish Question” he said.
On discussions about Hizbullah, Karayilan said there were no conflicts between Hizbullah and PKK in the past. He said Hizbullah only targeted civilians and was a state sponsored organization.
