Police have attacked a demonstration organized to protest the building of a wall between Nusaybin and Qamışlo by the Turkish government. 

Thousands have joined the protest against the "wall of shame" and have been faced with heavy police presence.

Police attacked the demonstrators as they were marching towards the place the wall is being built on. BDP Mardin deputy Erol Dora and BDP Mardin president Reşat Kaymaz spoke to the crowd but their speeches were interrupted by the police attacking the people.
